My review in 6 words: the best kind of intermission

This book is just what the doctor ordered to appease all of the Ethic fans! After the final book, we just could not let this family go. Ashley is an author that caters to her readers in a way that satisfies us and satisfies her creative genius. I loved hearing about the family and their first Christmas together. It was beautiful, but I expected nothing less. Some of the stuff that was shared in this book has me 38 HOT to read Butterfly but I will read it nonetheless.

In love with the Okafor family!!!! It was so good catching up with each of the characters. I love Bella and Henny’s relationship and hope that as spin-off of their story will be coming in the near future. I love EAZY!! I love the transformation Mo is going through. I even loved the transformation of Alani and Mo’s relationship. I love Alani and Ethic and of course what they are building.

This books of course has a few twist and turns. But is a great accompaniment of the Ethic Series. We need more holiday specials for the Okafors!!!

I love me some Ethic

This was a great surprise and a great read. I just love that damn Ethic. It was such a tear jerker especially seeing Alani and Morgan’s relationship evolve. In the Ethic series there were times when Morgan got on my last nerve but seeing her maturity in this book made me excited for Butterfly. I love little Eazy he is such an intuitive kid and his connection to Yara was so moving. His story line made me cry it was so moving.

I love Ethic and Alani. The Okafor family has gone through so much and the trauma continued in this book. The only disappointment that I have is that this was more like a novella. I wanted more. More of Bella and Henny, more of Eazy, more of Nannie, more of the “parents”. Now on to Butterfly to follow Morgan.
There were a few typos in the book as well…
