For those of you who know me, I try to do the Alphabet Soup Challenge each year - and while you would think finding books with X or Z titles would be difficult, it is the J that gets me every time!
A couple of weeks ago, I went to the bookstore specifically in search of books starting with the letter J. Just Haven't Met You Yet seemed like an interesting synopsis, so I picked it up.

This novel is adorable! Not only is it about love, and finding love in unlikely places, but it's also all about family and the stories that get passed down through generations. Laura, Ted, Jasper, Gerry, Sandy, and Ilidio are so lovable and unique.

Don't just pick this up if you are looking for a title that starts with "J". Pick it up if you are in the mood for a rom-com!

Well I think I may need to start every year off with a Sophie Cousens book! Her stories are the type that make you laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time. This story in particular is a delicate balance of life affirming moments mixed with humor and heart. Basically, the perfect kind of story for me.

I was foolishly worried that I wouldn’t enjoy this as much as This Time Next Year, but I have to say in the present year I am in, I’m exactly where I want to be: ringing in the new year with a good book that reminds me to be in the present moment, and maybe not worry so much about this time next year.

This was a really cute and funny read. I do wish there had more more about the developing relationship with the actual love interest but I still enjoyed it quite a bit.

I was really disappointed with the book. It took me a very long time to get into the book and I never really did.
