I'd say a little more uneven than I would have preferred, but there is a lot here with which I identified deeply. :)

This book was released after The Secret Loves of Geek Girls but before The Secret Loves of Geeks to whet the appetite of fans anxious for more intimate tales of love and relationships from fannish women. It delivers.

Really more of a 3.5, but rounding up again. Great content, as usual. Still feels very much like a mixed bag and some feel more confessional than anything, but the quality of the work is still very high. Feel like this is exactly how long these anthologies should be. Just enough to satiate, but not not enough to make you resent the length.

I wish this sequel wasn't so short as I was really looking forward to the second installment, but I still loved it.

This collection of stories and comics from women creators who identify as geeks is fantastic. The stories within are largely well written and perfectly describe the varied ways in which we women love, in the framework of how we sometimes we feel incredibly alone—whether it be because we're the geekiest geeks we know or that we're trapped inside our own minds too much (and sometimes both).

There were two stories/essays that tugged on my heartstrings here - one by Marguerite Bennett and one by Marjorie Liu. I would say that if you only read two pieces from this collection, make it those two.
