I LOVED the first half of this book — who doesn’t want two caregivers for the price of one? And the way Tony and Rhys were so insistent but also respectful about making Jess and her son Jasper feel safe, after struggling on the streets? Swoon. Plus Aunt Berta was a treasure, and the family village vibes were strong.

Points taken off for the slight choppiness in the second half. It wasn’t bad, I just thought it was missing more conversation about the transition from temporary roommies to a MFM relationship, considering it was new dynamic for all 3 characters.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and recommend especially if you're in the mood for caregiver MMCs. Again, *swoon*.

Most of the book is about jess having her sex Fantasy come to live.

Jess' and Jasper's situation was portrayed well and really made me empathize with them so much (also I lowkey need to read more abt characters who struggle w homelessness I feel like) and I was rooting so hard for Rhys and Toni to convince Jess to stay. And I also really enjoyed the romance/spicy stuff. The side characters that build the family and friends surrounding the main characters was heartwarming and wholesome!

i have to say i wasn't expecting myself to be speeding through a ménage novel, but the writing in this is actually so compelling that i found myself unable to put it down. the author did so well at establishing jess' situation that i sympathize with her and her hardships as a character. jasper (jess' six-year-old child) was written very well too! no children-talking-like-adults in this one, thank god.

the romance/attraction aspect swept in so weirdly, but i expected it to come out of nowhere so i get it.

Have you ever read a reverse harem book with three men and thought “two is enough”
