Victoria does it again, makes me enjoy a chilling story even the ones thought for children are uterly emjoyable. Her voice and descriptions make me see Paris through Cassidy.
This summer, Cassidy Blake and Jacob, her best friend and a ghost, follow her parents through the world in a ghost hunting TV program while at the same time learning about ghost hunting themselves. In this book it's Paris, and specially Partis catacombs that make an important appearance. Upping the ante, it's not just an angry ghost it's a poltergeist they have to fight this time.
And a new friend made in a new city.

Entertaining read. I love that you see the conflict in Cassie about lying to her parents, yet wanting to do the right thing. Jacob is a character that really grows on you.

I was excited to dive back in to story with Cassie, the first book was fun and spooky in a tween movie way and I really enjoyed the vibe it gave off and I was not disappointed with this sequel.

We follow Cassidy an in-betweener who can slip past the vail from the living and the dead, meaning she can see ghosts and go in to were they are stuck. In the first book we meet Jacob her ghost best friend side kick, we also meet Laura a girl who has the same ability as Cassidy but more knowledge.

The whole cast comes back in this enjoyable tale, Cassidy wakes a poltergeist who is getting stronger which means she has to investigate in to his life to find out what happened to him in order to set him free. We also see worry as Jacob continues to get stronger, ghosts aren’t meant to be in this word for long periods of time they are meant to be set free.

I feel like the next instalment will be about Jacob, but I was hoping we will get one or two more stories of Cassidy and Jacob best friend and ghost side kick hunting ghosts, setting them free and kicking spooky butt. Also I want more involvement on Laura’s behalf because she’s an interesting character.

Only time will tell where these knuckleheads will take us. Overall enjoyable fun read with great writing and lovable characters.

I literally finished this book in three hours, I just love a fast paced books. I can't say it was better than 'City of Bones' but this was just as fun and delightful.
I love Cassidy and Jacob together and individually, I simply cannot get enough of them. It's always fun reading about them and their adventures.
