My first time reading one of the Good Thief series. I bought it because we were going to Venice and thought it would be fun. It was an okay read, but I don't feel like I need to read anything else in the series.

Another fast paced sarky murder-burglary-caper with Charlie and Victoria. And set against the enchanting backdrop of Venice, how can you go wrong? It’s canals and waterways, casinos and double-crosses and high speed chases…

Love these good fun adventures with Charlie!

An entertaining plot, with nice touches of humour and plenty of twists. Easy reading, I wonder when someone from the film world is going to pick this up and use it as a screenplay - could do worse.

Another finely crafted novel from Chris Ewan. This one twists and turns like the streets of Venice themselves. Enjoyed the ending too.

I picked up this book off of a discount table at my favourite Victoria bookstore, Munro's. The novel was a fun read and I read it quickly! A great find from a great book store.
