It’s long, dense, and in my opinion a little dry. Loved the Baron, until I didn’t…

There is so much thematically to pick apart and talk about - horseshoe of socialism, republicanism in words vs practice, what it means to identify yourself with a social group, how vestiges of power structures don’t really ever leave.

I feel like there’s got to be more I am not equipped to talk about as a dude in the US… I am happy I did not put down the book at the 300 page mark like I wanted to, but it is not one I’ll be picking up again
