This book felt like it was trying too hard. And I just didn't enjoy it. I didn't like the main character, I didn't really like the love interests, and there was something about the pacing that didn't really work for me. I also really hate to say that I struggled with the faith element, not because I don't like Christian themed works, because I do... but this one did not work for me.
I also was really hoping for a lovely heart-warming read, and this wasn't that for me. It may be the attitude I went into the book with, but I didn't find it improved my mood any unfortunately.
