Another fine example of why I love Allen's books: great characters that you care about, a lovely little plot, and the relationships that it revolves around. This is probably my favorite of her books because it's main theme was the meaning and the importance of true friendships between women.

Likes:
+ Beautiful writing. Especially the descriptions:
"In the autumn, the entire backyard became a mass of lollipop-yellow leaves, so bright they lit up the night like daylight."
+ Nice general messages about life and happiness.
+ Easy to read.
+ Left me with a pleasant warm feeling: like drinking a cup of hot chocolate.
+ Claire from [b:Garden Spells|1158967|Garden Spells (Waverley Family, #1)|Sarah Addison Allen|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347309330s/1158967.jpg|2689445] has a small secondary role.

Dislikes:
- Cliched small town setting and characters.

The Peach Keeper, in so many ways, reminded me of other contemporary romance novels about small towns that I have read. We got some who want something more, others who are just fine where they are and in the end HEA strikes.
What makes The Peach Keeper stand out is Sarah Addison Allen's wonderful writing. Worth reading just for the descriptions and general life philosophy presented.

i LOVED this book! A small town, a mystery, a few close relationships, and no profanity! I borrowed this one from the library on my kindle, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a purchase to keep and read later book. L.O.V.E.D it!!!
