I’m slightly jealous

I really appreciate that Scarlett has met 3 amazing men both in and out of bed, but I was hoping she might share a bit (mostly for me). It’s a great reverse harem and would totally love to take Scarlett’s place, if it wasn’t for her murderous crime family

This book is a must read. Scarlet is on the run from her family and thinks she is well hidden. Three gang leaders soon prove that notion a dream. Kidnapped by The Triad, this book covers a woman finding her people and damn is it good! With a cliffhanger which can only build your anticipation until the next book is released, this is the kind of angst that we all need in our lives! Fast paced action, steamy and just downright fun to read, if you enjoy hot, naughty guys, mouthy heroines who know what they want and the kind of heat that will burn you from your brain, all the way down - this is the book to read next

Scarlet ran away at age 18 and has been on the run since because her own family tried getting her killed. When she finds herself in the hands of the Triad she doesn’t know if she could continue to run. The Triad runs the town and is just as bad as her family. But why would she run away from the three hottest guys when she can be a part of them. Well hello Sebastian, he might be the sweetest of them all but also a freak and possessive as hell. Tristan, well I have no words for him but GOD DAMN!!! Then there's Elliott, hello Grumpy Pants, There's always one that is way too hard to break his walls. This was a great read and the spice was on point. Can’t wait to dive into the next book.

Spicy: 3

Absolutely a must read for those of you who like or even love dark RH reads. For this to be a debut book for this arthur she sure knows how to tell a story and one that has you glued to the pages. Scarlett has been on the run hiding from her family and just so happens to be in the right place at the right time when The Triad show up looking for her. Why are they looking for her? Why is she hiding from her family? You'll just have read it to find out.

I would’ve liked this book more if Scarlet wasn’t the most insufferable person on Earth. She says she “never liked having female friends because they’re too bratty and bitchy” (girl, are you describing yourself?). She’s a pick-me and “so petite and small but I can eat so much!” and generally one of the worst FMC I’ve suffered through. The book itself is fine, it’s written like a Wattpad story, which is fine if you want something easy and fun but don’t expect literary genius. There are so many plot holes that I rolled my eyes at (they instantly trust the daughter of their rival gang because she sleeps with them? they make her the head of their IT department without asking for her resume or doing anything besides sleeping with her????), but overall the book was a nice little break for my brain. There is almost no romance or actual emotional connection, it’s 100% just smut and them being obsessed with her. 0 emotional depth from anyone involved. I might have rated it higher if Scarlet wasn’t on my nerves the entire time.

I really loved this book and CANNOT believe this was Dana’s first novel!

This was not only an amazing start to her being a published author but an amazing start to this series. I’m not going to go too far into depth here but here are a few key things to know about this book:

1.) Scarlet’s family are assholes.
2.) The men in this book are hot af.
3.) Scarlet is an absolute badass.
4.) you NEED to read this book.

I cannot wait for the next book because I am panting just thinking about Elliot being unleashed.
