This is a review of the entire series
3.5 stars but rounding down. I liked a lot of the characters and there were some really cool plot points but the story started to meander. In the end the story felt like it wrapped up too fast and some plot points brought up earlier where abruptly ended or left hanging. I would still read another series by Paru though, the story had a lot of heart and a lot of great art.

One of my favourite manga series of all time. I can't believe it's over.

I'm rating the series as a whole not this individual volume. What keeps this from a 5 is a couple of volumes near the end of the series. I think after the main mystery of who killed Tem was solved my interest in the series waned at times.

BEASTARS was still good, I'd read it again. I'm not sure if I will get my own copies unless they make a box set for the series.

I really love Beastars and all of the characters with all my heart. I truly wish the characters got a better conclusion than this one, but upon reading through it for the first time since the initial Japanese release I find myself feeling more bittersweet than upset. I love any excuse to see more of Legoshi and I'm glad that we can see a continuation of these characters in Beast Complex and the ongoing anime series.
