I love this series so much. I’ve been watching the anime as it’s slowly been coming out since 2016. However this is the first time I picked up the manga. If you enjoyed the anime or you simply enjoy a good mafia/ detective agency storyline paired with cool super abilities I highly recommend it!
The post script alone is so enjoyable. Not to mention character designs are gorgeous along side the use of the writer and artists’ use of hand writing!
As many would say, Dazai is his own trigger warning so please check content warnings before reading!

I know a bunch of the characters are based off of irl authors/writers. I've only read Osamu Dazai's No Longer Human and so far, besides him being

well suicidal

I find the references rather clever.

A fun little break from all the epic-fantasy as I've been feeling myself slipping into a reading slump (partly because I have exams in just over a week). Bungo Stray Dogs is kind of strange. I like Dazai a lot, he's a very entertaining and charismatic character. The art style was interesting and I liked the stories and general plot. I don't know anything about Japanese literature or manga but I enjoyed this. I was confused about the

weird mafia direction it took at the end

 

Honestly, I'm just rambling because I don't know what to say. I am just indifferent. I don't know how to review manga. I don't know what to expect, what is meant to be good, what isn't meant to be good? But I liked it. So yeah?

Beautiful start for a story that I have long-known about. I thought: “if the anime was good, why shouldn’t be the manga even greater?” And I was pretty right, to be honest.
Loved it from the beginning to the end.
