This was a super fun read! A great twist on the movie and such a cozy winter book! I watched the movie right after reading this book and was delighted to see some of the parallels drawn between the book and the movie, along with noticing the differences in the book and the depth to which Elsa and Anna’s thoughts and feelings are addressed throughout the story. The movie is very fast-paced, obviously, since it’s only an hour and forty minutes long. I found the book a little slow to start but once it picks up in the middle it gains momentum fast. It’s so cozy all throughout because of the Frozen movie nostalgia overall, the winter setting, and the great writing (loved all the song references!). The character descriptions and snowy scenes give me all the cozy vibes! This was a great choice leading into Christmas and I’d defs recommend for any Disney or Frozen fans out there. It’s also great for kids from upper elementary/middle onwards!
