“You made me, you gave me language, and now I see your failings and deficiencies”

one of my goals this year is to read more translated literature.
I did enjoy this one, the writing made me gasp out loud– stunning. However, I feel like bom just lacked oomph if that makes sense. Nothing really brought it together in a way that made me go wow.
philosophy was top tier though

I can see this being a book that some people really like. Someone who like to dissect literature, putting the statements in order and determining who said what. But that's not my vibe. Things picked up about halfway through, and I thought the overall plot was interesting, but it was also a little difficult for me to grasp. This wasn't bad, it just wasn't for me.

Tsja.
