Not sure how I feel about the "love triangle" it felt contrived even for this series. Also I think it would have felt more dramatic if spoilers:
Spoiler she had been kidnapped until next volume
. But maybe that story arc isn't done yet. Idk. Still enjoyed it, especially the lovey dovey stuff in the hospital

This volume opened with a very steamy scene.
Then things got very dramatic. Choko! I hope she is truly gone now.
Yuri's old friend, I don't like him. It seems he hasn't seen her in years and thinks because he knows her family he can tell her what to do. She's an adult, he may not like her choices, and his concern might be real, but bro... you can't manhandle her. I have a feeling this isn't the last we'll see if Jin, he's going to cause a lot of problems for Yuri.
I always like it when an outside force reminds us (and Yuri) that Oya can be dangerous. I love how gentle and sweet he is with Yuri, but I really like when his dark side shows. It makes the soft and sweet moments feel more special.

I'm halfway through the series now and I feel like the only interesting aspects of the couple is when an outside force is trying to break them up 😆 that's when we see the MMC's true Yakuza nature. He's mostly a softie-for-her trope and I want the anime angst I guess...

In this issue specifically, there was another happening that is heading towards a resolution WAY too fast. At least we see a glimmer of the unhinged violent side I'd expect of a mafia boss...
