First the title, then the word photography, but I got so much more than I anticipated. Time, history, myths, and magic all pulled together for this tale. I was thrilled that Sienna knew that working behind the camera can be a good place to hide, and in her case, totally understood why. Being shunned is never, ever, easy. Her dear grandfather, again, being a caregiver is also hard. I felt their pain. Then, as it always must, things change. The past is connecting with the present and the 1600s isn't as distant as it might have been. I really loved the mystery, romance, and dual time frames. This is the kind of book you run to be swept away, in all the good ways. It didn't toss faith by the wayside either, and making it just perfect is that it's a clean read. I really liked the settings, and the entire story is well written. I think I need to know what else is coming from this author.

Many thanks to Celebrate Lit for my copy of this book. This review is my own, left freely. A positive review wasn't required.

Once again, Clarissa Kae weaves a compelling story of romance with engaging paranormal elements. I love how Clarissa ties the past and the present together, creating an emotional journey that keeps you wanting to turn the pages. I loved seeing Ioan and Sienna come together as they discovered the mystery of their ancestors. An engaging story from start to finish!
