It was a good book, trust me, but I really hated the dynamic of

gay man in love with clingy straight man that has a girlfriend and a kid

Though it wasn’t for me, the rest of the authors writing (so far) I love. Just this one is a big no-no in my mind.

Gabriel is such a fuck boy and I kinda love messed up people so this story worked for me.

Would be so close to a five star but his sexual attraction to Jared happened like the flip of a switch. Too rushed.

This read like a bad fever dream. To be fair I was baked when I read it but still. Also Gabriel just sitting there doing nothing for most of their kisses… just bad vibes like if he doesn’t want it, he doesn’t want it ya know?? Also Jared being in love with him since Gabriel was his minor patient?? That was just skipped over and made me feel crazy bc huh??
