I mean what can I say? Shakespeare writes a pretty good sonnet

It took me a while to get through these sonnets but each one was amazing and deep. Sometimes I found myself having to reread them because I felt that they were too profound and that I wanted to be able to grasp them fully. I ended up dedicating Sonnet 116 to my best friend and I hope she likes it. All in all, it was truly a wonderful collection and I no doubt will be returning to it time and time again.

It's Shakespeare, it's his sonnets. What else is there to say?
I'm quite partial to #85 myself.

A book that contains over 2
150 of Shakespeare's sonnets. There's a reason Shakespeare's work is still read today. The sonnets are so romantic that you'll wish you had someone to write poetry about.

This is one of the oldest books still on my physical TBR dating way back to 2011, so I figured it was about time I read it. I mean, this is Shakespeare, I generally like his workâthis was really no surprise.
Real talk though, #130 will always be my favourite sonnet. Thanks David Tennant and Catherine Tate!
