A wonderful description of the rise and fall of the Mongol Empire. However for a book named after Genghis Khan, I am surprised there isn't more discussion of his personality or speculation, or that he is an ancestor of such a large percentage of Asia's population. Would read again.

Took a bit to get into but arguably a must read - incredibly insightful into how the mongols shaped most aspects of the modern world from the renascence to Nazi military tactics
