Honestly a lovely holiday book for those who are spending time away from those they love. Made me instantly think of my mother. Also, the die-cut is beautiful as well as the illustrations!

A beautifully illustrated book about wanting to be with family members on Christmas who live/work far away. The little girl wants to deliver her letter to her grandpa and rides a reindeer to see him. There are pop ups and cut outs throughout the book. Would be best appreciated one-on-one but would also work for a read aloud.

A wonderful children’s book. Perfect for single-parent families as a reminder that no matter the distance everyone loves eachother and is thinking of each other at Christmas - the Christmas spirit I love.

A wonderfully illustrated story about a girl, Mia, who made a Christmas card for her Grandpa. Saddened to learn it wouldn’t reach him in time for Christmas, she’s in the dumps until she discovers the Reindeer Express! A cute, charming story about spending Christmas apart from a loved one. If only the Reindeer Express was real! I hope to share this book with my niece when she’s a little older, who is far away.

Whimsical, sweet, old-fashioned fun. Inter-generational relationships always get me. I love Mountford's color palette; fresh and festive.

The illustrations and cut outs and lift the flaps are amazing, and the story is fun. It does beg the question where is Dad?
