Basically B movie zombie schlock film in book form. Doesn't get any deeper than that and full of details that don't really make sense except to further the plot. (We bury people on the moon in the future because there is no more room on earth for cemeteries and the pollution caused by cremation is outlawed).
But overall a quick fun read to take a break between heavier content.

I hate zombie books. Really, I always stop reading them, when I find out that's what they are. Vampires are great, werewolves are OK, aliens can go either way, but not zombies, nothing can make me believe that a body without pumping blood, oxygen circulation, and brain function can move - how can muscles move without those 3 things?
Anyway I really like Peter Clines and especially the Threshold books, so I read it, and since it wasn't really about the zombies and it was so well written, and the characters were great, I enjoyed it a lot.

2.5 Slightly on the boring side. Great concepts - treating Moon as burial grounds as Earth has limited resources. “Radioactive" brain-like meteorite raising Zombies and tricking humans to do exactly what it wants i.e. heading to Earth. But as the book progresses, with constant death and stupid decisions, I couldn't bring myself to care about the protagonists anymore.

Wonderful book but dark. Lots of suspense. Ray Porter really helps make it come alive with his voice talents.

I loved the concept and it had some great scenes, but it is 3 stars compared to the previous two books in the series.

I'd love to see this as a movie though, it would have some great visuals. Although a horror movie with the budget to do the Moon FX is unlikely!
