This is one of my favorite Night Before Christmas stories. As a child my Paw Paw read it to us ever Christmas Eve. My mom and I have continued this tradition with my children and my niece and nephew. It is enriched with so much Louisiana culture that it pulls you in and makes you feel safe and warm just like the food we have here in Louisiana does. If you want a different take on The Night Before Christmas I highly recommend reading this book.
