Owl Magic has much to offer a specific audience, especially now in the time of the pandemic.
The narrative is based in a significant amount of history and research, which I appreciate (e.g., the Neolithic Venus mother, Gimbutas, Joseph Campbell, Julian of Norwich) and the pictures add an additional dimension. These lead to useful writing prompts that combine her history with more commonly therapeutic directions. They initiate through-provoking and potentially healing self-reflections.

The book reminds the reader that small, personal practices may help lead to a more fair and equal society. A quick read with some interesting places for self-reflection.
