I really enjoyed this! I’ve wanted to read it since I saw it coming out but never got around to it and I was surprised how much I liked it (I’m not usually one for bully romances). I do think it got a little OTT crazy in the end, but overall I really enjoyed it.

*I knew I’d want Jordy’s book when he first popped up, but after that epilogue & realising where it’s going and who he’ll end up with I’m 100% pumped to read this. It got 100% better and I’m dying just thinking about it.

I love Roan & Hollis, but I fell in love with Roux first. I fell in love with her when they were walking home, and she said Charlotte was her best friend. I teared up. Actually crying at her thoughts. I think a lot of teenagers have those thoughts, but this book was about Roan and his rat.

Now, back to the rat and his lover. I hated how Hollis felt, but his mom loved him and supported him. Roan and his friends bully Hollis from the start, but the more that Hollis learns about Roan though he just pulls at him. Hollis falls in love with him despite the way he treats him. He sees the hero in there.

All the side characters are fleshed out, and I love when we know more about them. I always want more. I can’t wait to read more.

My only impression after reading this book was: Penn and Cope were better.

My fav part was Hollins tells Roan to back off the grumpiness and Roan is like 'sorry, I change for nobody' and I'm like: YES BISH!

K Webs mm romance is ADDICTING AF y'all. I don't hate this, did I like tho? Debatable. I couldn't put my phone down, I'll give you that.

I originally wanted to give it 3.5 but I'm like yeahhh, nah.

“You’re so precious,” I tease. “Defending my honor.”
“Bye, fucker.”
“Bye, hero.”
He mumbles out a “fuck you” before hanging up.
My heart skips several times.

(My bestie told me what happened to Roan and Hollins in the next book and all I have to say is: YIKES

URGH K Webster is truly the QUEEN for m/m romances, after spending the last 2 days reading the entire Hood River series I thought I’d put a short review on before really getting into it on my blog.

Everything about this book kept me on the edge of my seat, the preppy MC Hollis being the main reason. Hollis English is probably my favourite character out of the full series, his back bone strong after everything that has happened to him.

Okay I love Hollis, he’s mine. Fight me.

Roan is something else entirely, he’s got a mean streak that makes me short of breath and a love for his family that makes me swoon. Honestly, we all need a fierce Roan in our lives, just as long as we’re not on the wrong side.

Hood River has some dark corners in it, and when the English’s move into town they bring the warm light that the Hoodlums just can’t seem to resist.

Don’t hesitate about picking up the first book in this series - you’ll want to be a part of this world just as much as I did!
