I don't know how to feel about this
Well that was one very taboo and forbidden read. Like to the point where it made me uncomfortable reading it. The writing was good, but man, I just can't get over the relationship between them even though Mason wasn't really Jett's father. Guess this was a step too far for me even though I do enjoy dark, forbidden romances.

This is a taboo romance so I went in knowing that it was going to test my limits a bit. And it definitely did. The story was really intense and fairly short. Overall, I really enjoyed reading.

I don’t mind taboo but the dynamics of this book was a bit much for me. Mason was obsessed with Jett, even as a child. He literally raised her until she was 12. Like literal father. I also don’t like that Jett is 18. I never understand why the girls can’t be just a tad older. She’s very naive and has actual daddy problems. They go between being lovers and parent/daughter, instead of picking a side. There could’ve been so many other “forbidden” positions between the two, instead of her actual father in every term of the word except dna. Like he was there when she was born. Too taboo for me. He literally did what her mom thought he’d do and it begs the question if this would’ve happened regardless of him abandoning her. And they continued to be a secret.
