Contained some really special insights on "troubleshooting" inner doubts and hang ups many writer's have.

The gist is simple: Written little and often. A quick read with some practicalities.

A lot of self-promotion, not a ton of actual information. A few breakdowns of things like how to go from outline to sketch to draft (etc) were helpful to me as someone who's still trying to figure out the process. Short enough that I feel like it wasn't a waste of my time. Got a few things and can move on to the next thing. Might try to read something else from this author with a bit more in-depth discussion.

I didn't find it as helpful as the first book of hers that I read (Write Better Faster), but there are still a few good tips in there. It's useful as a companion piece but I would definitely recommend reading the other one first.

This book was nothing I thought it would be.
It helped me find time to write… find the muse to write.
After the death of my father years ago, it was hard for me to concentrate. It still is in most cases but regarding writing, even if only a short article or letter, this helped me to at least trying to find the time. I always had excuses because I was too scared of clearing my mind and just doing something.
