It was interesting to see why the staff was selected since they tend to not be the best at maintaining a house.

Finished on the 5th of May at 14:24. The way this one talked about disabled people and generally socially outcasted people made me feel really disgusted at times.

This volume was very interesting. I still remember when I watched the anime a few years ago and I was feverish about the end of the circus arc. Even though Ciel is so arrogant (which he also admits in this volume), he is still a bit similar to me. He is aware as a human himself that humans are pathetic and surprisingly Sebastian also says what he things about it, it made me feel tense (in a good way!). In the last chapter Ciel was being measured for new suits and he tried to hide his seal from Lizzy as she was there too. In the end Ciel didn't manage to hide it for long, but Sebastian helped him. I know that both have a contract relationship, but sometimes just like in this volume it feels like they do like eachother, nevertheless. (Not including when Sebastian danced with Ciel while he had a trauma response)

Ah, this volume was so bloody and dark and disturbing and I loved it. A fitting end to the Noah's Circus story arc, especially if you are fans of Ciel's servants and the shinigami that collect the souls of Victorian London. Last chapter was a welcome bright spot in a book of mostly depressing material, although the cognitive dissonance in its placement was a bit jarring. I really wish Yen Press did 'next volume' previews for Black Butler; it needs it!

PS - Nina Hopkins is basically a representative of a good portion of Tumblr users, especially the Ciel fans. Look into your dashboards, you know it to be true!
