Wow! So much happened I don't think I could have explained it to someone if I tried. Was gripped by the storyline throughout and was very unpredictable. Read for a book group. Looking forward to discussing what everyone else thought.

Me encantó.

Another great story from Lucinda Riley - she sure knows how to write a good one. It was just what I needed during these dark days of covid - a sweeping family saga that was totally immersive and whisked me away from reality.

I didn't like Greta at all. She seems to be always useless and let David resolve everything for her.
I don't understand what makes her attractive to David, especially during 30 years...
I find it hard to like her, and then she looses her memory, and the reader is supposed to feel compassionate for her? But she did nothing good, and a lot wrong...and now she doesn't do anything...

Wow, I listened to the audiobook and could not stop! The narrator, Julia Barrie, gives an amazing vocal performance of this family saga. They have more than enough of their fair share of tragedies, as well as love and firm family and friendships. Lucinda Riley sure knew how to keep you gripped!
