I would love to give this book 5 stars but I don't think I can. I hate to judge it on the movie (which I haven't seen) but it wasn't made as a fake documentary?!?! Come on! That's how it is written! So I don't want to see the movie (I mean, Blair Witch Project did it), but I loved the book!! So read it and skip the theater!

AUDIOBOOK IS AMAZING! This book chronicles the appearance of the "African rabies" virus that makes dead people come back to life and turn into zombies. Through interviews with people all around the world, we see how many countries reacted to zombies and what individuals did to survive. I loved this book. It is exciting and sometimes shocking. The stories pull you in and you get attached to characters you only see in on or two stories.

This was so immersive and interesting. I found myself thinking about it often in my day-to-day life. I couldn’t get it off my mind. For the first time in a long time, I was sad to see a book end. I highly recommend the audiobook. It has a full cast with very convincing narration and authentic sounding country-specific accents.

Interesting enough. A fresh take on zombies in the fact they move fast. I found myself really enjoying this audiobook and the cast that reads it. I also really enjoyed the almost behind the scenes feel this gave of a zombie apocalypse. The fact it was retrospect made for a nice timeline and painted a really good pictures when all the pieces came together

I really enjoyed the format of this audiobook. I’m so glad it was performed by a full cast. It made it feel like a series of NPR interviews on a real life event. It’s an interesting concept for a book, but I wish it was a little more cohesive in its story telling - maybe the global perspective would have worked better for a series of books rather than just one standalone

Wow! Great audiobook, multiple narrators. Soooo much better than the movie, and so very different from the movie you can't really compare it too much. A great read!

good book but not a huge fan. I like the way it was told - all the individual stories, but it didn't evoke any thoughts or feelings.
