Indeed this is a quick read. I finished this book in less than 30 minutes. I believe it is based upon a commencement speech. Plenty of sage advice. "Look at that view!"

When my Grandmother died this past November, this was in her belongings. When I took it home with me, I felt like she had left it just for me to read. This beautiful essay & photo collage is all about enjoying life as it comes. School, work, goals, are all important, yes. But it isn't about achievements, it's about the little things. Life's "embarrassment of riches" isn't money or success, but rather the unexpected moments that broaden our perspective & bring us joy & contemplation. Thank you, Grandma.

I wish she expounded more on the moment that she said changed her life.

A good book, cliched in some ways but with truth nestled inside. Would recommend if you’re in a reflective mood.

Kind of repetitive and says what hundreds have said before. It’s great for a lot of people, very beneficial read for those starting to get into self-help and all that. For others with an emotionally mature parent and a few years of mental health problems, it becomes redundant and idealistic.

This is probably intended as a gift book. It's tiny with stock photos and not much text. I checked it out on a whim from the library but it's like reading a brief blog post in book format.
