I didn't like this one as much as the previous ones - but still, I'd reread it.

In my review of the last book in this series included talk about the suspension of disbelief and how while the things that happen and the actions this group of teens take are not very likely it is easy to overlook that because the story is so good.

But this one...I found it very odd that the army, after finally rescuing the kids and bringing them to New Zealand and getting them counseling and settling them in to some semblance of regular life would then ask them to go back to the fields of battle to act as guides for some New Zealand soldiers. Really? These are just teenagers, what leader would require them to go back? Just seems weird.

This is a far more psychological book, focusing on the mental state of the kids as a result of the things they've done.
