My heart is broken. This was such a good graphic novel. It opened my eyes to some things and it tore my heart into shreds. I loved the book hated what it was about. Humans are humans, and no one should have to struggle like this.

This is the story of Ebo. He follows his brother on an attempt to go from Northern Africa to Europe. It’s an important graphic novel to explain the refugee crisis in the part of the world.

The artwork, which is full-color-is fantastic.
The story stops and starts at pivotal moments, making the book impossible to set down.
There is one moment I would have advised the writer to pace differently, but, hey, I wasn’t his editor!
The story is unpleasant but important.
