I really love this series but this one has to be my least favorite.

I really loved Angelo in the last book & I still do but I can't understand why he would want an open relationship when he is supposedly so madly in love with Zach and never really showed much tendencies toward this in the last book.

I think the main reason is that an open relationship is something I could personally never do, I freely admit I am a jealous person & just can't get my head around why Zach would want Angelo to fool around with other guys or why Angelo would want to when he has Zach at home.

Having said all that, it does seem to have made their relationship stronger & Angelo seems to finally realize that he is worth loving & that he is good enough.

I really enjoyed Matt & Jared in this story as well, they were my first m/m romance & I think they will probably always be my favorite :)

Of course I will continue on this series as I love the characters Sexton has created & am looking forward to reading more about them.

Okay, like Jared and Matt, I don't get it, but Zach and Angelo are happy and now have a deeper relationship and I guess that's all that matters. And I'm just a hopeless romantic who seems to think that a relationship should stay between those in it, but that's not always reality and I need a bigger box of understanding, which if I'm honest is a constant lesson in life :)

I loved Matt and Jared, and I was afraid when I started reading A to Z that I wouldn't like Angelo and Zach as much; however, I may have liked them better by the end. But this book may have changed my mind again. I just can't comprehend letting someone you love just go off to have sex with someone else. Even though whatever was between Angelo and Cole was over as soon as they finished, I couldn't imagine being as calm as Zach when he came back out to the party, and I certainly can't imagine taking him home and having sex with him right after or kissing him after what he had done. And then to send Angelo off to the dance floor and let people kiss and grope him but tell him he can't have sex with them only to drag him off the dance floor to have sex with him yoursef?! To each his own I guess, but I don't understand their relationship at all. And I have to say that I agree with Jared's rant towards the end... I feel like Zach does allow Angelo to go off with other people because he feels like he has to in order to keep Angelo. I don't honestly feel like Zach is really ok with this even if he does say so himself, and even if he does actually go off on Jared and stand up for Angelo. It just doesn't make sense that two people who are so afraid of losing the other and still aren't sure about their relationship would want to allow one of them to have sex with other people?! If Zach really is the best thing to ever happen to Angelo, and the only person he's ever loved, why would he want to sleep with Cole or mess around with people on the dance floor even if he thought Zach was ok with it?!

Cheating in stories are never really pleasant to read, but Sexton really makes the issue a valuable lesson and interesting read. Couldn't put the book down, had to finish it in one (long car ride) sitting.

I really enjoyed Jared and Matt's story in Promises, and then Zach and Angelo's in A to Z, so I was very excited to read more about them in The Letter Z.

At first I had somewhat mixed feelings about this story because, like Jared (and Matt), I couldn't understand Angelo and Zach's arrangement. I kept waiting for, and dreading, it to cause problems in their relationship, but it didn't. Instead, the tension was created between Angelo and Jared, which made for an interesting dynamic because of the friendships among the four men.

The trip to Vegas was very interesting and enlightening as things came to a head. The reappearance of Jonathan, Zach's former lover, really stirred things up, but it was also the catalyst for getting several issues out into the open.

I really enjoyed the alternating points of view between Angelo and Matt. Angelo has such a distinct voice. I always love to hear what he has to say. Matt was interesting because it was really the first look at things form his first person perspective. I thought it added an interesting addition since he was put in such an odd position between Jared's loyalty to Zach, his to Angelo as well Jared and Matt's love for Jared.

Overall, I thought this was a great addition to previous stories, and it added an interesting layer to Zach and Angelo's relationship that I hadn't expected.

This is an interesting book to comment on. I like the way the characters from the first 2 books come together and take a trip to Vegas but some of the actions of Angelo and Zach made me so angry (obviously the characters are very well written to elicit such an emotional response) that I almost didn't want to continue with the story. It was almost a feeling of being let down by Angelo based on what he wanted to do and by Zach for him allowing it. Still it was nicely resolved in the end.

More like 3.5 stars. It's weird cause on one hand I liked it but on the other I was squeaked out by Angelo's behavior. The author had kinda set up on the previous book by talking about the different types of love displayed by the characters. To me Angelo's love is a selfish kind, but just like in real life its something that is between him and Zach. Just cause it wouldn't work for me doesn't mean doesnt mean it's wrong. They seemed happy with it.
