The book did its job: it made me like Sam more and more as the story went on. If you're debating DNFing, the end is worth it.

I think I’m just too old for this book’s demographic. I loved the movie, but I couldn’t get past the main character’s flaws or that icky scene with her teacher.

I ended up enjoying this book more than I thought I would. During the middle of the book I started to get a little bored, and it got to a point where it was hard for me to read. But I think the ending chapter really made it up for me. Also Kent is just the best character in this.
