My kiddo has really enjoyed listening to me read these. It's a great series for talking about what we think will happen next. He loves the characters and imagining more about that world.

just as clay was definitely the best choice to start the series, sunny was definitely the best choice to close it. she's so different in her head than her friends see her but somehow still also essentially the same and i loved how finally people saw her the way she wanted to be seen and took her seriously! i also love how much the five dragonets care for each other. i was a little hmst about
Spoilerthe magical eye of onyx that just,,, solved their problems but at least it was only the very last problem and they DID have to do everything they'd done prior in order for it to have happened.

this series reread took (alarmingly) less time than i'd anticipated and i think i'm going to continue with the second arc!
