This book hurt. Not just with how lonely Dahlia was feeling, but her trauma and the trauma of Lucien. I felt for Dahlia. That all-consuming darkness. The love of the pain to help numb the emotional hurricane inside. I was hurting for her. Reading her thoughts and seeing her go further and further into despair. I hated all three of the Rossi men. I hated how they acted towards her, like she was a game. Her feelings didn't matter. But, as time went ok, i saw the truth, and so did Dahlia. Gabriel saw her darkness and tried to help her. Slowly, she trusted all of them. And she became stronger. And nothing is manlier and more amazing than a woman feeling safe with her husbands, which is what all 3 ended up being to her. Their traumas were all valid! And so glad that Dahlia opened up to them and got revenge on the one that haunted her Nightmares! Love the ending and that they all 4 are together and giving Dahlia her freedom.

This book is really good. It's my favorite out of the first 3. I feel that the build up was really good and that it took a lot of work to guess who was betraying them. I liked that it wasn't very rushed and that Dahlia didn't just instantly fall in love with the men. I liked that you saw all sides of the 3 men and that each of them had flaws and she found a way to still love them.
Overall this book was well written.

This book had me hooked from the very beginning. I liked all the main characters (Dahlia, Gabriel, Lucien, and Raphael) and they're all so different but similar to each other.

There was one thing that was inconsistent, though (from what I've noticed, at least). Somewhere towards the beginning of the book it was mentioned Dahlia was allergic to beets, but towards the end-ish it changed to radish. It didn't necessarily bother me to the point I'd lower my rating but it would be nice if the food allergy was consistent.

Spoiler Though there was that one scene towards the end of the book where Raphael was on the roof and Lucien revealed the secret he's been keeping from everyone was a bit so-so for me because it just happened so quickly, and was very Hallmark-y for my liking.
