It's a non-fiction, poetry, picture book with very short chapters. It's hard to shelve in a library, but it's a great book!

This is great food for thought for a young audience, and would spark some wonderful discussion. Doing a section or two of this book in storytime would be fun. The end felt jilted though, and seemed to counter some of the information that came earlier in the book (we use trees for construction, and then we need to protect trees from being used for construction). I think the message could have been much more clear. Some of the wording bothered me at times. Any time I read anything to the effect of "girls and boys" or similarly limiting language around gender, it makes me like a book less.
