This was great. I love the vision and more importantly the dedication to boys across this nation whose lives have been abbreviated due to a “beef”.

A poignant and powerful look at the cycle of violence as one boy, Will, must make a choice to continue or break the cycle.

Super quick read, like I’m talking 30 minutes. But the quickness does not take away from the story.
It’s beautiful and chilling.

Crying score: a little, yeah

Good gracious. I cried the entire second half. Jason Reynolds is a talented poet and narrator. I am in awe of his way with words.
