This was just so sweet. The sapphic romance was wonderful, and there was great character development despite there being only 50 odd pages! This is definitely a children's book so go into it expecting the story etc. to be aimed at that age group. Docked 0.75 stars because while it was fun, I'm not buzzing about it.
Moderate: Body shaming, Emotional abuse, Fatphobia, and Death of parent
Minor: Ableism, Confinement, Death, Misogyny, Sexism, Violence, Grief, Murder, and Fire/Fire injury

This was so soft and cute and I need more woc in fantasy pleaseeeeeeee
My only nitpick is that some plotlines felt underdeveloped/rushed. I liked that there wasn't homophobia/lesbophobia in this, but I thought there would be more moments with Sadie and Amira.
And I would love to read another 50+ pages about Amira, Sadie, Celeste, Oliver and their adventures! (Prince Butthead is cool too, I guess.)
