Another book club read. So short & quick and it was like being in on all the juiciest gossip!

Wow,
I finally got my hands on a audio of this book and was blown away by the narratives told. Not what I was expecting g but so moving. Peach cobbler and when Eddie levert comes were my favorite short stories in this collection. These stories were an emotional slice of life that hit right in the feels

I really wanted to like this book but I struggled through it. It’s a bunch of short stories about women and church. None of the stories or characters really stuck out to me. I did find the beginning stories to be more interesting but as the book continued I got bored and often had to reread stories to figure out what’s going on. I just kept getting bored with it. It’s definitely an easy read in the terms of how short the stories and book is but just not one of my fave books.
