I loved the first book very much so I was really excited when I got the second book. I love Roz and Mitchell so much they are fantastic. We continue to learn more about Amelia and not one bit was boring. A real page turner that I couldn't put down.

An older couple finds romance in the second book of the In the Garden Series. I enjoyed Roz's personality and strength in the first book and I find her even more admirable in this one. I found it interesting how adults with grown children being written as the main characters of a romance differed from previous ones. It was more straightforward and the drama did not come from misunderstandings between Roz and Mitch. The ghost story escalates as does the ghost's behavior switching from pacified to violent and deadly. It wasn't a gripping tale, but a necessary one at the Harper Home. I look forward to the last pairing, as they've been on the back burner since book one.

Probably the absolute worst NR I’ve ever read. Boring...massively boring. And no chemistry between the couple. Definitely one of the most dry and uninspiring heroines she’s written about. Just awful.

More 2.5. Good overall, but it dragged in the middle. And I don't get why the genealogist was writing a book on Baudelaire. It didn't say he was researching his family or anything. Random.
