I'm a huge fan of this author and series. The setting here is rich with mystery, the characters are diverse and the story had me totally engaged. I'd read along thinking I'd figured it out, only to turn the page and find that, once again, my theory was wrong! A fun read that really kept me dreading the moment I'd have to put the book down to do something else and racing back to it as soon as I could. I can't wait until Amory and Milo are back in the next story.

Another enjoyable Amory Ames mystery! I love Milo and Amory and all their banter. The other characters and the mystery weren't as exciting as the previous two books but still fun to read!

I just adore Amory and Milo Ames. They are probably some of my absolute favorite characters. I love seeing them together and happy. The strain that their marriage has been through has pretty much come to an end, which I was very pleased to see. Milo is so patient and supportive of Amory. She gets herself into some crazy schemes and he just goes along with her providing whatever support or protection he can. I adored that. Amory really can't let a mystery pass her by. She is probably too curious for her own good, but she is very good at what she does.
