Simple and somewhat random in its storytelling, Farazmand's brand of dry humor and offbeat observations always entertains me. City Monster draws more strength from individual scenes than the larger plot, but it's worth the read for fans of Poorly Drawn Lines or fans of deadpan comics.

The burn-out of living in modern society as a twenty-something told through the vehicle of a semi-sasquatch moving to a city. Nothing of profound depth here, tbh.
