It is time to admit to myself that I can't possibly write a real review (not that my "real" reviews are ever that lengthy) about each and every Agatha Christie book that I read in my current marathon. They read pretty fast. My mental review-writing energy renews itself less quickly.

This one: Miss Marple shows up about 30? 40? I forget - percent in, in a much more contrived way than she has in past episodes. I guess that is to be expected. But it made me nervous for the future.

Did not guess the killer. Did not even come close.

Something I've noticed about Miss Marple that I love:

"No," said Miss Marple, "you can't change people."

She says this quite often and I couldn't agree with her more. I just wish more of us knew it to be true.
