Is the writing still trash? Yes. Is Auren still very annoying and spineless? Yes.

Truthfully, I never want to read this again. This is a poorly written series and I do not understand the positive reviews. I feel like we didn’t read the same book at all. Thankfully, I will not be continuing.

That ‘bright side?’ shit annoys me so bad. There is no way that this is an appealing aspect of these books. Like, no way.

The only reason why this wasn’t a 1 star is simply because 1) the first book was way worse and 2) the bit where auren is a prisoner at fourth’s camp is less worse than the other parts of the books. It’s not good, it’s just not as god awful as the rest of the content in both books combined. It’s like the first draft was written and then immediately published without a second thought.

I cannot begin to describe how happy i am to never have to read these books again.

Uhhhhh so happy I already bought the 3rd book. Kennedy really knows how to end a book.
