I don't know what to give as a rating for this book... I mostly just read the short story Sukkwan Island for a class but I'm not quite sure what to do of what happened or why it happened.

I read the longest story last and it really tied the room together, did it not? Wowzers.

Legend of a Suicide is a collection of stories about Roy's relationship with his father. Short stories bookend a novella about their ill-fated year living in a cabin on a remote Alaskan island. The stories don't co-exist comfortably as the events in each are contradictory. This makes it a bit of a disconcerting read and may be the reason why, although I liked the writing, the book as a whole didn't totally satisfy me.
