Wonderful collection of short stories (fairy tales) that are a bit more light-hearted and fantastical than his more famous works; The poems did not grab me, but I am not much of a poetry person to begin with, so I cannot comment on their quality

Incredible collection of stories with a great essay to wrap it all up. The highlights were, bu far, “Smith of Wotton Major” and “Leaf by Niggle”, great tales full of mistery and wonder

Purchased to have a printed copy of “On Fairy Stories” but stayed for the adorable stories. Smith of Wootton Major was a little dull but Roverandom made up for it. Also impeccable illustrations from Lee, as always
