Weighing in at only 115 pages, this is a short read; but so much happens within those pages. The one main thing I enjoy about Edward Vaughn’s writing—aside from his hard-case crime storylines—is that his writing is so tight. Streamlined. You won’t find an ounce of fat within these pages. It’s just really great writing. His stories are ones that I hate to leave and love getting back to when reading time comes around again. This was just a fun, fast-paced, gritty, wicked little read. Keep them coming Mr. Vaughn. I’m ready for that next one.
