This is a romance between an online poker player and a casino host. It's a nice story, with plenty of details about poker that would be interesting to someone who likes poker and even to someone like me who doesn't know the first thing about it. I even enjoyed the poker parts!
This is my second Nell Stark novel, I like her style.

I loved and felt the chemistry between Vesper and Nova. And the sex was smoking hot. I don’t like card games so I skipped a lot in this book. That would have made it 4 stars if that was all.
But the beginning with all the roommates and not getting the house stuff could have been skipped, wasn’t necessary at all. And we still don’t know what Vesper’s name is, than why put it in the book that that is not her name, what happened to Jeremy in the tournament. But more important what did Vesper think/feel/go through when she found out that Nova was gone? And why was the ending so abrupt? And why wasn’t there a epilogue? I even went here on Goodreads to find out if there was a short story of something about them that would conclude this story. That is why 3 stars, maybe it even should have been less, but the writing was good.
