There is a special category of realistic fiction - I might call it ridiculous fiction - that while everything may technically be able to happen in real life, the entire premise is so outlandish as to defy credibility. This book is exactly that. It's funny, but utterly unrealistic.

2 stars means it was okay, people. I didn't hate it, but I also didn't love it. I'd recommend it to my one brother who likes this kind of stuff better than me, but not anyone else really.

This was hilarious! I wasn't a fan of the narrator at first but he ended up totally fitting the character.

This book is amusing and I can certainly see the appeal for some kids, but it was a little too ridiculous and unrealistic for me.

A funny story about an 8th grade class trip to Washington DC. I think it would be a fun read aloud.

The story is a little far fetched but I could see some middle schoolers (esp. boys) liking all the silly events the characters go through.
